Fiat Panda Gets Chopped Up and Transformed Into World’s Lowest Car
You’ve seen the world’s smallest bicycle, now check out the world’s lowest car. ‘Carmagheddon’ took a first-generation Fiat Panda, chopped it up, and then added go-kart like controls under what was left. This means to drive this bizarre vehicle, you need to crawl through the back window and lie on your back.
Guinness World Records hasn’t yet certified this as the lowest vehicle just yet, but you probably won’t find another Fiat Panda with just 1.2-inches of ground clearance. Fortunately, the donor vehicle was sourced from a junkyard without an engine, lights or wheels. This made chopping the car in half a lot easier, in which the top half was used to fit a tubular steel frame for more rigidity. The original windshield is non-functional, so the driver actually has to view a video feed on their smartphone from a roof-mounted GoPro action camera.

Very cool! You need a floor to keep rocks from getting thrown at the driver, and you need a built-in camera or mirror system. You have to be able to see the road live, and it should be built in. Are there any very smooth racing areas you could take it to? Loving this,” said one fan.
