Sky Elements Drone Shows Sets New Guinness World Record Using 1,002 LED-Equipped Drones
Sky Elements Drone Shows set a new Guinness World Record for the largest aerial sentence formed by multirotor/drones in Northland Richland Hills. The company used 1,002 drones equipped with bright LED lights to put on a 10-mninute show that paid tribute to the history of the United States.
Drone light shows typically make use of swarms of small UAVs that arrange themselves into various aerial formations. Just about any image can be recreated in the sky by a computer program that turns graphics into flight commands and then communicates them to the drones. In this show, we see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, a giant eagle, and even what appears to be an astronaut holding up the US flag.

Drone light shows are a feast for the senses and a greener and safer alternative to traditional fireworks. Using drones significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with fireworks, eliminating harmful smoke and chemical residue. Additionally, drone shows mitigate safety concerns by eliminating the risks associated with fireworks accidents, making them a preferred choice for communities across America,” said Sky Elements.
